Privacy Policy
Beauty is designed so your writing remains yours. The app has no account system, advertising, telemetry, or developer-operated document storage server.
Information Beauty collects
Beauty does not collect your documents, usage history, diagnostics, location, contacts, or search history. The app does not collect app usage analytics or contain advertising SDKs.
Optional Beauty Maximus purchase
For the optional Beauty Maximus subscription, Apple processes purchases and RevenueCat processes an anonymous customer identifier, transaction details, and subscription status to validate and manage access, prevent purchase fraud, and provide subscription analytics. This purchase history is not linked to your real-world identity and is not used for tracking or advertising. RevenueCat does not receive your notes or images. Beauty disables RevenueCat's automatic device-identifier collection and diagnostic reporting.
Your documents
Notes and imported images are stored on your device. On iPhone and iPad, the app encrypts its private library at rest with a key held by the operating system's secure storage. Files you deliberately export or place in a shared folder are stored wherever you choose and are governed by that destination's privacy practices.
Photos and files
Beauty asks for access only when you choose a photo or file to place in a document or open in the editor. Selected content is processed on your device. Beauty does not upload it to us.
Optional collaboration
If you create or join a collaborative session, Beauty uses a random invitation token and connection services to help invited devices find one another. Those services may process network information, such as an IP address, only as needed to establish the live connection. Document edits are encrypted in transit and exchanged with the people you invite. We do not operate a server that stores your collaborative documents.
Website
The Beauty website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. Its hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver the site and protect the service.
Children
Beauty does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. The app is a general-purpose writing tool and is not directed specifically to children.
